I have never liked ginger because its taste was so spicy, and it tasted very medicinal. I started researching the benefits about ginger and how it can potentially help the immune system. Sometimes when we try new things, our body does not agree with it. I started drinking ginger tea and tolerated it very well. I did not like the hot feeling I got from ginger, but my palate has adjusted to it. I am really liking the spicy feeling I get when I drink it hot. My family started drinking ginger juice every day to maintain health. I used ginger, strawberries, and blueberries, and club soda to give it a refreshing taste. Wow, I was surprised by the taste. Delicious. Sometimes you must experiment with different mixture of ingredients, and you will be surprised by the good taste. I also use ginger when I make certain food dishes, and if you have problems with inflammation, ginger is good for fighting inflammation according to health and nutrition experts. I like ginger in baked fish and chicken entree's it adds so much flavor and zest. I was so surprised to discover the many properties and benefits of ginger, that it is part of regular diet. I have used ginger for an upset stomach and yes it has helped me tremendously. I know ginger is not a cure all, but it does not hurt to try it and experience it in your diet from time to time. Just like anything else that you consume, do it in moderation, little bit of this and a little bit of that.
Tips. Ginger root, grate it to make 1/2 cup of ginger, 1 cup of water, 1 cinnamon stick, boiled, and strained with a strainer. Add a touch of honey to taste, drink, and enjoy.
